The food choices were good. Very very nice and pleasant staff who were always there to help. The hotel was fairly clean with reasonably spacious rooms and very, very nice staff. the location was marvellous to the wonderful hiking trails in the area. - It's next to restaurants, center of village around good restaurants and the centre of Meiringen. We didn't have enough time during our stay, but we are already planning to come back.

Spent 1 night in this hotel during our trip in Meiringen. The room was new-fashioned, had a great interior. The staff was very pleasant, solved all problems we had. The location was particularly good, in the centre of Meiringen and overlooking mountain. What's more, it was adjacent to the nearby attractions and the train station❤👌👍

I stayed in a single room at Hotel Dakota and it was cozy and comfortable. The bed was really comfy and the satellite TV was a nice touch. The room also had a private bathroom, which was convenient.

I didn't really enjoy the fact that there was no balcony in my room. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

The restaurant was perfect for breakfast. the staff were super-friendly and excellent at cooperating. - the venue is very central. - the hotel is at a moderate distance from the Sherlock Holmes Museum.

Useful amenities like mini fridge, Nespresso machine, and safe. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed buffet breakfast with a variety of options. Looking forward to returning to Switzerland.

The location in the center of Meiringen near the station was convenient. the hotel had free safe parking for a motorbike, which was great. the staff were friendly and efficient. the wide selection for breakfast was impressive. the hotel also had a good on-site restaurant. the air conditioning was a bonus.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and tourist information center. There is a big Migros right opposite the hotel. The wifi in the room was good. Smooth check-in and check-out. Staff at the reception desk was very friendly and super helpful. The hotel also offers free transport tickets for local transportation, which is amazing for exploring the surrounding area.

We had an excellent experience at Dakota! Great value for money with a free upgrade to a comfortable room with a beautiful mountain view. The location was superb, just a short walk from the train station and with easy access to hiking trails. The staff, especially Melanie at the reception desk, were friendly and super helpful.

The hotel breakfast menu could have had more vegetarian options.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location was perfect, right in the center of the village and very close to the train station. The staff at the reception desk were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with amenities such as ironing facilities and a flat-screen TV. We also appreciated the free toiletries and freshly pressed orange juice at the breakfast buffet. the service and quality of this hotel were top-notch.

We were actually surprised by the adjoining rooms, which allowed us to have some peace and quiet in the evenings. The staff, both at the reception and the restaurant, were friendly and accommodating. The free transport ticket provided was a great bonus, great to explore the area easily. The breakfast spread was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Meiringen.
